BLACK FOREST

In the mountains of Black Forest Colorado, a pair of best friends find their latchkey teen years turned into a thrilling mystery. Follow Jack and Cash as they discover the dark secret of the woods, mess around with some drugs and guns, and evade Neo-Nazi jerks looking for a legend. Beyond all of that, enjoy a story of self-discovery and coming of age that touches on loss and healing.

This is the first audiobook I ever narrated, and subsequently, the first I ever produced. I'm not
embarrassed to tell you that Audiobooks intimidated me to start - the sheer length of the work made me to rethink the idea of comfort in my home studio, and all of the different characters I needed to voice challenged me as an actor. I'd played against myself in a few scenes before, that was nothing new, but sometimes I found myself as the whole scene which is as exciting as it is terrifying.

Luckily, I was able to bring in two other actors to play off of me for voices that I really couldn't bring authenticity to. Lisa and Emmanuel were critical in bringing the book to life, and I'm really pleased with the results. It's out now on Audible!

Dungeons and dragons isn't just for the cool kids drinking Mountain Dew in their parents basement anymore. Anyone can play! Gone are the days where nerd is a bad word, with celebrity voice talent podcasting their own TTRPG adventures, millions of downloads per episode; now, (dare I say it?) its popular.

My friends and I have been playing D&D for a long time. It makes a lot of sense to me; It's a storytelling game, and we're actors, writers, and improv comedians. So when I became a sound designer too, I realized I had everything I needed to make an awesome show with music, SFX, and natural, on the spot dialogue. It's been a great challenge wearing the producer, game designer, and performer hats, but its a project I've always wanted to work on, and with chapter one done, I'm very proud of the sound design of this hilarious "Audio Adventure". It's filled with the giggle-inducing improv of Richie Pepio and my charmingly weird world of voices.

NOHA

I teamed up with Noah Redfield (NOHA) to record and mix his new album, Scenes from a Breakdown. His caustic wit and brilliant lyrics get framed thoughtfully in the spacious mix, without losing the personality and distilled meditation that NOHA expresses in his music. I love this album, and hope you do too. You can take a listen below, or head to his website.

UNSEEN NETWORK

I love a good variety show, and Unseen Network is just that. I produced and acted in Sir Callahan, a science-fiction comedy written by my collaborator Noah Redfield. I crafted and sourced the SFX in Sir Callahan, and produced some scoring music too. It's one part space dandy, one part sci-fi secret agent, and all parts fun. As a whole, the show is an unique sonic experience that I still enjoy on my commute.

RINGO AND TEX

Episode 1: Between the Buns

Two Miami cops chase down a mad burger burglar with total disregard for property or public safety. Helicopters, explosions, and two .44 Magnums make this action/comedy show a kick-ass ear tickler.

Ringo is a mustachioed, grizzled, gay cop with a great pair of legs. Tex is a smooth-operating car-lover with a penchant for alliteration. Together, they cause a lot of damage.

This is one that I wrote alongside John Ball, who is the Ringo to my Tex. It was an idea we had back in college, to take the buddy cop story too far every time. Some day, they will return.
